Willie George Crittenden Obituary

Willie George Crittenden, 77, of Rocky Hill, passed away on November 21, 2025, at Hartford Hospital.  Born in Avant, Alabama, he was the son of the late Tom Crittenden and Willie Edna Rich.


Willie grew up in Alabama where he graduated high school.  He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He moved to Connecticut after serving in the military where he worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Manufacturing and Electric Boat for many years.  Willie volunteered at soup kitchens, enjoyed playing bingo and loved talking with people.


Willie is survived by a brother, Joe L. Rich of Hartford and three sisters, Edna F. Allen of Florida, Betty A. Davidson of Alabama and Angela R. Tate of Alabama.


Along with his parents, Willie was predeceased by his wife Ann Crittenden and son Steven Crittenden.


The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff and doctors at Sgt. John F. Levitow Health Care Center.
