Wesley Edward Blakely

Wesley Edward Blakely, 91, of Cromwell, passed away on July 17, 2022 at Manchester Manor in Manchester. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Wesley and Alice (Johnson) Blakely. 

Wesley lived in Cromwell his whole life and graduated Middletown High School Class in 1948. He worked at Valley Oil Company for many years. He loved dogs and enjoyed walking. Wesley had his pilot’s license and loved flying his own plane.

Wesley is survived by his sister, Beverly Okolita of Vero Beach, FL, two nephews, Robert and Richard Hebbe both of Vero Beach, FL, and four nieces, Linda Irwin of Tolland, Diane Gregory of Suwanee, GA, Cynthia Lindberg and Pamela Hebbe, both of Vero Beach, FL.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28th at 11:00 am at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
