Warner Curtis Ferry, Jr., 87, of Cromwell, passed away on December 4, 2023, at Pendelton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Mystic. Born in Northampton, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Warner, Sr. and Barbara (Van Deusen) Ferry.
Warner lived in Cromwell for thirty years and worked for Empire Tool and Manufacturing for twenty years. He enjoyed playing Bocce and was an avid Giants and Yankees fan and a longtime basketball fan. Old friends who played softball with him in Avon, said he ran like a deer. Warner loved his family and friends from all walks of life.
Warner is survived by two sons, Kevin C. Ferry and Warner C. Ferry, III and his wife Mabel; three daughters, Christine Roman, Kimberly Ferry and Tina Ferry; two brothers, Donald Ferry and Kenneth Ferry; a sister Barbara Jean Johnson and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Leonard and sister Joyce.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, December 14th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell.
