Vincent Joseph Lorenti, 78, of New Britain and formerly of Cromwell, husband of Marianne (Kowalski) Lorenti for thirty-nine years, passed away on February 23, 2025, at Water’s Edge Center for Health and Rehabilitation. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Rose (Bilardo) Lorenti.
Vinnie owned and operated Vinnie’s Service Center in Cromwell for twenty-five years. He also enjoyed western movies and music from the Ratpack days especially Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra. Vinnie’s family was everything to him.
Along with his wife, he is survived by three sons, Christopher M. Lorenti and his wife Jodi of Newington, Robert J. Lorenti and his wife Brooke of Middletown and Vincent Lorenti of Boston, MA; a daughter Natalie Lorenti of Boston, MA; three grandchildren Ava Cook, Braylon Lorenti and Donovan Lorenti; two step-grandchildren Hayden Labbe and Dane Labbe and three brothers, Pat Lorenti, Anthony Lorenti and Joseph Lorenti.
Along with his parents, Vinnie was predeceased by three brothers, John, Frank, and Michael Lorenti; two sisters Theresa Morgan and Linda Stober and his first wife Carolyn (Marino) Lorenti.
Family and friends may call on Friday, February 28th from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell.
