Timothy John Moore

Timothy John Moore, 74, of Ocala, Florida, beloved husband of Diana (Jenkins) Moore, passed away on March 29, 2024, in Florida. Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Howard “Joe” and Mildred (Moriarty) Moore.

Tim worked at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, Connecticut for 32 years. He met his wife Diana there. In January, Tim and Diana celebrated 52 years. He also worked for 10 years at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford as a Security Manager. Tim volunteered as an ambulance driver in East Haddam for 30 years and a Town Constable for many years.

Tim and Diana attended First Church of Christ Congregational in East Haddam, where he was a trustee and a member of the Monday morning group. Since moving to Ocala 10 years ago, they have joined the Timber Ridge Community Church.

Tim is survived by a son Thomas H. Moore (Angela); a grandson Zacaree Moore and a granddaughter Kyla Moore. Tim also helped raise four stepchildren, Chris, Cindy, Cathy, and Ted Gilpatrick. He also leaves his sister Maureen Annino, her daughter Holly Green (Garfield) and their daughter Makayla Green; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and a cousin Cliff Moore.

Along with his parents, Tim was predeceased by his two stepdaughters, Cindy and Cathy.
