Stephen Michael Hennessey, Sr.

Stephen Michael Hennessey, son of the late George and Florence (Magnano) Hennessey, 59, of Cromwell, CT passed away on January 20, 2021 due to COVID-19 complications.

Stephen was a graduate of Cromwell High School class of `79. He was a machinist by trade, but he could fix anything.

Stephen had a love of the outdoors. He enjoyed camping with his family and bird watching. His favorite place to be was Maine. He also loved his dogs Sheba, Gina and Karina.

He was a kind and loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his two children Stephen Hennessey Jr. and his wife Monique, Kaitlyn Tobias and her husband Jeffrey. He is also survived by his six beautiful granddaughters, Arabella Hennessey-Ives, Alaura, Amelia and Amara Hennessey, Abygael and Melody Tobias. He is also survived by his sisters Donna Callahan and her husband Larry, Kathy Rand and her husband Robert, one brother James Hennessey and two nieces Jennifer and Erin Callahan and one great-nephew Landon Samoska. 

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, George A. Hennessey Jr.

Calling hours will be held on January 25, 2021 between the hours of 5:00-7:00 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home 506 Main Street Cromwell, CT where masks and social distancing are required.
