Stephanie Florence (Sudol) Kane, 96, of Cromwell, wife of the late Albert Kane, passed away on June 2, 2026. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agata (Gurdak) Sudol.

Stephanie loved working in her garden and cooking for family, who she had a huge love for. She was very close with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She had a special affinity for birds, cats, and dogs. Stephanie was incredibly brave throughout her cancer journey. The family is deeply appreciative for the compassion and care shown by her caregivers during her illness.

 Stephanie is also survived by her son Thomas Kane and his wife Carolyn of Chester and two daughters Kathleen Kane of Brookfield and Cynthia Lieberman (the late Gerald) of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; four grandchildren Brandon and Douglas Kane and Samuel and Matthew Foreman; one great grandchild; a sister, Anna Malicki of North Branford and several close nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 9th at 11:00 am at St. John Church in Cromwell with a burial following in the State Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends may call Monday, June 8th from 5:00- 7:00 pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main St. Cromwell.
