Stanley Leonard Klein

Stanley Leonard Klein, 69, of Cromwell, beloved husband of Patricia (Guerrini) Klein of forty-two years, passed away at home with his family by his side on Friday, January 25, 2019.  Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Arthur and Elsie (Jacobs) Klein and the brother of the late Herbert Klein.

Stan was a life member of the United States Power Squadron, Middletown Chapter.  He achieved the top ranking of Senior Navigator and in his thirty years with the squadron he earned twenty-eight merits.  He was the Middletown Power Squadrons’ and District Ones Education Officer. Stan also wrote the software “Celestial Tools for Navigation’ that is used nationally.

The last couple of years Stan started attending open mikes.  He went from observer to participant and made many new friends along the way.  Stan was always willing to offer his time and help to his family, friends, associates and even strangers.

Along with his wife, Stan is survived by a son, Jeff Klein of Norwalk; daughter, Laura Klein of Cromwell; grandson, Logan Rich, and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.  To the world you were a Dad, to your family you were the world.
