Sandra Lee (Carlson) Rich

Sandra L. (Carlson) Rich, 70, of Cromwell, loving wife of 50 years to Robert M. Rich, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 22, 2018. Born on April 6, 1947 in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Beverly Carlson. Sandra was a 1965 graduate of Cromwell High School.

 Sandra was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She spent her early years working at Sav-Mor Market and then began working for York Carlson Insurance Agency.

 Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Debra H. Rich, her grandson, Aaron R. Gidman, her granddaughter, Sydney A. Gidman and her brother, Garry Carlson.

 Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 3 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell.  A graveside service will be held on April 4 at 1:00 p.m. at the State Veterans’ Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
