Robert August Siebert, Jr.

Robert August Siebert, Jr., 79, of Jamaica, New York, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at The Reservoir in West Hartford, Connecticut. Born in Jamaica, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothea (Kohl) Siebert. 

Robert was a life long resident of Hollis and Jamaica, NY.  He graduated from Belmont Abbey College and then Notre Dame Law School.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army.  Robert was an employee of the federal government for over 40 years.

Robert was active with the American Legion and the Single Gourmet Social Club.  He also enjoyed attending the theater with friends.  In his spare time, Robert loved traveling and photography, and was a frequent contributor to the International Travel News.

Robert is survived by his sister, Nancy Siebert Gatland and two nephews, Kevin R. Gatland and wife Julie and their children, Eva, Nicholas, and Jacob and Andrew L. Siebert and wife Penny and their daughter Zahara.

Along with his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brother, Christopher Siebert.
