Richard Charles St. Pierre

Richard Charles St. Pierre, 90, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Hartford Hospital.  Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Charles and Leona (Bastarashe) St. Pierre.

Richard lived in Rocky Hill for over fifty years.  He was a veteran serving in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was an aluminum/vinyl siding contractor for years but his passion was renovating his home on the hill and enjoying the view. He loved hanging with his friends and feeding the birds at Rocky Hill ferry. He loved helping family and friends with their home projects.

Richard is survived by two sons, Richard C. St. Pierre, Jr. of Swanzey, NH and Joseph R. St. Pierre of Rocky Hill; two daughters, Sharon St. Pierre-Vivolo and her husband Frank of Rocky Hill and Terri St. Pierre Wood and Robert Potter of NC; sister Cecile Knutson of CA; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Kyle (Jessica), Austin, Jacob, Anthony, Ricky and Kasey; four great grandchildren, Gage, Gabriel, Mia and Ava; friend, Brent Wood and a longtime dear friend who was like a son, Kenneth Perrotti of Middletown.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 29th at 10:00 am in Colonel Raymond F. Gates Memorial Cemetery in Rocky Hill where full military honors will be accorded.  To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
