Born on April 16, 1955, Raymond Jesse Spencer, Jr., “Jesse” as he was known by all, lost his heroic, yearlong battle with cancer on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the age of 66. He was the youngest child and only son of the late Raymond Jesse Spencer, Sr. and Anastasia (Eagle) Spencer.
Jesse was the owner of Bud’s Plumbing & Heating, taking over the business after the death of his father. He serviced hundreds of customers throughout Middlesex County. Jesse had simple tastes and lived a simple life. When he wasn’t working, he vacationed at his camp in Milo, Maine or he could be found chopping firewood on the coldest winter days or weeding the garden in the highest heat on a summer day. Jesse enjoyed spending time with friends at Bieler boys, having prime rib at the Brookside on Thursday nights, and listening to conservative talk shows on the radio or TV.
Jesse is survived by his daughters, Shannon Cooper and Melissa Spencer; his sister, Madeline Fazzino; nephew, Chris Fazzino; niece, Sarah Damato; granddaughter, Cheyenne Burkle and grandson, Thunder Spencer.
Along with his parents, Jesse was predeceased by his wife, Thelma (Jansky) Spencer and his sister, Ellen Spencer.
