Raymond Fred Congdon

Raymond Fred Congdon, 95, of Middletown, husband of the late Beverly “Bunny” (Fellows) Congdon, passed away on December 26, 2024 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Frederick G. and Myrtle (Plumb) Congdon and lived in Middletown all of his life.
Ray was employed with the City of Middletown and at Wesleyan University. He was a member of the Third Congregational Church in Middletown, was an avid bird hunter and decoy collector.
He is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Congdon of NH; two granddaughters, Heather Mary and Amber Rose Congdon; and one nephew, Jason Congdon.
Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his son, Edward C. Congdon.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
