Patricia Ann (Ruel) Riley

Riley, Patricia Ann (Ruel), 87, of Cromwell, beloved wife of the late Joseph Riley, passed away peacefully at her home on February 9, 2025. Born on January 16, 1938 in New Britain she was the daughter of Paul Ruel Sr., and Evelyn (Perry) Ruel. Patricia grew up in New Britain and spent her summers at the family cottage in Madison. Patricia moved to Bristol where she raised her loving family. After Patricia worked as a Cosmetician in New Britain for over 20 years and after that she worked for the State of CT Accounts Payable Department at UCONN Health Center until she retired. Patricia loved traveling with her husband Joe and spending time at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.

She is survived by her daughter, Corinne Gotowala of Bristol, her son, Rodney Gotowala and his wife Jeri of Naples, Fl., her daughter Brenda (Gotowala) Gray and her husband Richard of Torrance, Ca., her daughter Marsha (Gotowala) Krolikowski and her husband James of Kissimmee, Fl., her step-son, Todd Riley of Cromwell, one sister and four brothers, Shirley (Ruel) Swenson and her husband Kenneth of Ca., Paul Ruel Jr. and wife Joan of Tn, Raymond Ruel and his wife JoAnn of Ca., Robert Ruel and his wife Kathleen of Ca., and Richard Ruel and wife Karen of East Hampton who are predeceased and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
