Nancy attended Mansfield, MA High School graduating in 1962. She retired from Travelers Insurance Company after more than 25 years of employment, her final position being a systems analyst. As a dedicated wife, mother, and      breadwinner, Nancy devoted her life to homemaking and creating a loving family. She was an avid reader of romance and mystery novels, loved ice hockey, baseball, and music, and was an excellent baker and fantastic cook. She spent many afternoons at pick-your-own farms with her kids and grandkids, picking fresh fruits and vegetables for canning to make the most delicious jams and pickles. Knitting and crocheting clothes and anything else you could imagine were some of her special talents, and she always gave away her creations as gifts. In retirement, she spent her time between homes in Middletown, Connecticut and Naples, Florida with Ken, having lots of family and friends visit and stay with them. Nancy had many close friends, especially in Florida. She enjoyed entertaining and always made parties and holidays extra special for everyone. Nancy received great joy from caring for and playing with her grandchildren. She loved all animals. She was sincere and funny. Above all else, Nancy had a gentle soul and was tenderhearted throughout her life.
