Nancy Carol (Urbanik) King, 80, of Cromwell, passed away on March 4, 2026, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in New London. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Adele (Wojtusiak) Urbanik.
Nancy lived in Cromwell all her life. She graduated from Cromwell High School Class of 1963 and was a graduate of University of Hartford. She worked as a teacher at Edna C. Stevens School in Cromwell for forty-six years and was a member of Saint John Church. Nancy loved to travel, especially to Florida.
Nancy is survived by her son Douglas King, a niece, a nephew and many cousins.
Along with her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her brother Carl Urbanik.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 18th at 10:00 am at Saint John Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to Saint John Church, 5 Saint John Court, Cromwell, CT 06416.
