SEPTEMBER 30, 1979 – MAY 20, 2024

Michael Vincent Papale, Sr., age 44, of Connecticut passed away on Monday May 20, 2024. Born in Norwich, CT, he was the first-born son of Danita Griffin and Charles Papale.

Michael was an intelligent, loving, and inquisitive man. He loved his family and friends. His three children were his greatest blessings. Michael was an avid reader, he loved learning about things. He served in the Army National Guard, as a Sergeant working in helicopter mechanics. Michael studied at the United States Army Aviation Logistics School where he learned to be a helicopter mechanic. Michael served 20 years in the military.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Khrissie Papale; his dear mother Danita Griffin (Dave); his grandmother Joan Williamson; his three beautiful children Michael Papale Jr, Matteo Papale, and Melania Papale. Michael will be dearly missed by his siblings Joshua Papale (Erin) David Griffin, Christine Griffin, and Ryan Griffin. Michael will be greatly missed by his numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Michael is proceeded in death by his father Charles Papale; his grandparents Charles and Evelyn Papale; his grandfather Donald Williamson and Mandy Papale the mother of his children.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 5th at 1:00 pm in the State Veteran Cemetery in Middletown where full military honors will be accorded, and a celebration of life will be held on a later date.  To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
