Maureen (Alderman) Hartzell

Maureen (Alderman) Hartzell, 79, of East Haddam, wife of the late John A. Hartzell, left our loving embrace on March 20, 2026.  Born in Middletown on November 26, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Karrie (Grey) Alderman.

Maureen is survived by her children, John Hartzell, II (Jeanine) and Elizabeth Edwards (James) as well as six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two sisters Polly (Alderman) Beckwith and Fern Alderman.

Along with her husband and parents, Maureen was predeceased by her brother Raymond Hartzell, Jr.
