Mary Antoinette Gagliardi

Mary Antoinette Gagliardi, 62, of Middletown, passed away on November 18, 2024, at her home.  Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. Gagliardi and the late Josephine (Giordano) Gagliardi Fritz.

Mary had lived in Middletown in a group home for 25 years operated by New England Residential Services, Inc. and worked for Kuhn, Inc.  She loved nice clothes, getting her nails done and good home cooked Italian food.  Above all, Mary loved her family.

Mary is survived by two sisters Deborah Douglas and her husband David and Antoinette Gagliardi, both of West Haven; a niece, Angelina Gagliardi of West Haven and three nephews, James Greco of Los Angeles, CA, Vincent Severino of West Haven and Frank Way of Groton.

Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by a brother Joseph Gagliardi and a sister Louise Way.

The family would like to say a special thank you to her nurse Linda, caregiver Patrine and everyone else who took care of her for their kind and caring ways.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 25th at 10:30 am at Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church, 70 Gulf Street, Milford.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory to New England Residential Services, Inc. 282 Main Street Ext.
