Mariann Elaine (Ward) Wilson, 57, of Cromwell, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.  Mariann fought a courageous seven-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease.  She was the beloved wife of Thomas M. Wilson for twenty-eight years. 

Mariann was born in Rockville, Connecticut the daughter of John and Doreen (Waltz) Ward Jr., on July 20, 1963. 

Mariann was a graduate of Rockville High School Class of 1981 and of Briarwood College Class of 1983.  She went on to a career as a meeting planner for the Hartford Insurance Company and later continued her career in the family business, Letter Concepts, Inc. as a Major Account Manager for the past fifteen years.  She was beloved by all of her fellow co-workers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her adored children, Thomas John (TJ) Wilson, Andrew C. Wilson and Emily Marie Wilson all of Cromwell, CT.  Her parents John and Doreen Ward Jr. of Rockville and her brother and sister in- law John and Lori Ward, III of Southington, CT.  Her mother in-law Ellen P. Wilson, brother and sister in-laws; John and Karen Wilson and Richard and Susan (Wilson) Losi all of Wallingford.  Her nephews and nieces Christopher, Alexandra and Kyle Losi of Wallingford and Kayla and Hannah Ward of Southington.  Her uncle and aunt George and Sharon Ward of Stafford Springs and aunt Dorothy Avery and her cousin Laurie Paolino both of New Hampshire.

Mariann was predeceased by her grandparents Homer and Marie Waltz and John and Gladys Ward, Sr. and her father in-law Garwood Wilson.
