Manuel Fernando Pine Obituary

Manuel F. Pine, 71, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Thursday September 14, 2023. Born on the island of Faial, Azores, he was the son of the late Eduardo and Maria (Lopes) Pinheiro.

After he immigrated to the U.S., he began working at Dunkin Donuts. He worked tirelessly to build his franchise. With a witty and sarcastic personality, he brought laughs to anyone in his life. Of the many things he enjoyed in life, a black cup of coffee, lotto tickets and his many trips back to Faial to visit family are among the top.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sisters, Maria A Santos, Maria F Simas, Maria L Oliveira, Maria F Macedo, and brother, Jose E Lemos.

He is survived by a sister, Maria Garcia and her husband, Manuel of Lawrence, MA; sons, Manuel Pine Jr (Joanne) of Cromwell, Ed Pine (Melissa) of Cromwell, Rick Pine (Kim) of Niantic, and Deniz Pine of Middletown; and daughters, Ashley Gasior (Michael) of Cromwell, Francesca Pine of Cromwell; as well as his grandchildren, Mike, Jenna, Niko, Versona, Hayden, Winter, Madelyn & Michael, and many nieces and nephews.
