Malcolm Piexotto, Jr. Obituary

Malcolm Piexotto, Jr., age 71, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 27, 2025, in Cromwell, Connecticut.

Malcolm grew up in New York City and was a lifelong fan of the New York Knicks. He found joy in watching basketball and those who knew him will remember his warmth, quiet strength, and quick wit.

After moving to Connecticut, Malcolm met the love of his life, Len Weston. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter in Cromwell, raising three children and creating a home filled with care, devotion, and family traditions. Their home was a gathering place for the Weston family, led by beloved patriarch Albert Weston, whose influence shaped the close-knit bond they all share. He was a proud member of the Cross Street AME Zion Church in Middletown, CT where he enjoyed singing in the men’s choir.

Malcolm was an incredible father and uncle, who loved his children beyond measure and showed up for them in every way that mattered. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Len Weston; his children, Brandon Piexotto and his wife Melanie, Jason Piexotto, and Maxwell Piexotto and his fiancée Kelly Jones; and his granddaughter, Kaylani Marrero. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Albert Weston, Sr. and he leaves a large and loving extended family of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and his best friends who were like brothers to him, Tony Miller and Steven Grimes. He was predeceased by his parents, Malcom Piexotto, Sr. and Dorothy Piexotto (Armstead) and his mother-in-law, Eliza Weston.

Family and friends may call at Cross Street AME Zion Church in Middletown, Connecticut on Monday, August 4th from 10:00 to 11:00 am followed by funeral services at 11:00 am. There will be no burial.  Malcolm’s legacy of love, laughter, and quiet kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.  To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
