Lawrence "Bud" Walter Reading

Lawrence (Bud) Reading, formerly of Middletown, CT died Saturday, November 6, 2021, following a stroke.

Bud was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on April 4, 1946. He spent his life in sales and in service to anyone in need. Bud was a loving father, grandfather, a faithful friend and colleague, and a spiritual prayer warrior. He was a founder of the Men’s Prayer Breakfast, a 36-year ministry at First Church of Christ, Wethersfield, CT and was beloved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter Kelly, her daughter Skyler, son Daniel (Sarah) and children Vesper and Anchor, his two sisters, Beverly Haddon of Denver, CO and Patricia Reading of Pasa Robels, CA.   Eldest son Anthony Reading (Tania) predeceased his father and leaves grandchildren Tatum, Tabitha, Talia, Tevia, TJ and Taggart.
