Larry Joe Beck, Sr.

Larry J. Beck Sr., 72, of Rocky Hill and formerly of Meriden and Wallingford, CT passed away at Hartford Hospital on January 12, 2023. He was born in Athens, Georgia to Henry Beck and Rose Lee Beck (Brown).

Larry graduated from Lyman Hall High School, and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Eagles Club and American Legion. He was a truck driver for many years. Larry was the loving husband of Vickie Jean Beck (London).

Larry was predeceased by his mother, father, sister Jackie, and brother Billy. Larry is survived by his wife Vickie Jean, daughters Kim Ross, Laurie Kerr, and Tiffany Beck and his son Larry (Bubba) Beck Jr. He was also a loving grandfather to his 15 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Middletown State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown where full military honors will be accorded.  To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
