Kita M. Thomas

Pastor Kita M. Thomas (62) of Cromwell, CT entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Pastor Kita was the Founder and Pastor of The Way of Life Abundant Church located in Cromwell, CT. 

Pastor Kita was born on January 24, 1963, in Middletown, CT to the late Harold Thomas Sr. and Marian Thomas. Pastor Kita is survived by her beloved godchild, Taliah Ford, whom she loved and raised as her daughter; Her siblings: Cheryl Thomas, Harold Thomas, Jr. (Tracey), Veronica Thomas, and Arthur Thomas. Pastor Kita is also survived by her godchildren: Shequila Duncan, Tyler Thomas and Solomon Thomas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cross Street AME Zion Church, 440 West Street, Middletown CT. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of service.
