Kathryn Ann Colandrea of Madison, CT passed into eternal peace surrounded by her family on Tuesday May 18, 2021 after succumbing to a short-term illness. She was 76.
Born on February 24, 1945, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Edward and Estelle (Kuchyt) Gudelski of New Haven. After graduating from Saint Mary’s High School and studying at Stone Business Academy, Kathryn worked as an administrative assistant. Most recently Kathryn retired from Clinton Public Schools as secretary to the principal of Morgan High School where she served in that capacity for 34 years.
Kathryn is survived by her 2 sisters and the father of her children: Joan Lamoreaux of Manchester, Pauline Gentile of East Haven and Dennis Colandrea of Cadiz, Kentucky. Kathryn is also survived by her 3 children, Jeff, James, and Janet, their spouses Marie, Rachel and Russ Miller, and her 4 grandchildren: Ryan, Jared, Julie and Joshua.
Kathryn’s greatest achievement has been about Motherhood. When asked about her favorite holiday, she responded “All of them…they are an opportunity to be together with family.”
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 25th at 11:00 am at Saint John Church, 5 Saint John Court, Cromwell. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
