Kathleen “Kitty” Marie Bradley (née Kane), 67, of Middletown, CT, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025. Born on July 8, 1958, in New London, CT, she grew up there before making Middletown her lifelong home.
Kathleen, lovingly known to all as “Kitty,” was the beloved daughter of the late Cecelia (Morgan) Kane and William P. Kane. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Luchania Kane, and her sons, Marcus Kane and Michael Bradley. Daughter In-Law Jakell Bradley. She was the proud grandmother of Tyniha & Quincy Kane, Ayanna McCalla, Michael Bradley Jr., Jeneva Santiago, Emerie, Aiden, Noah, and Maverick Bradley. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Darrel, Annalise, & Avion Stephens, and Malique Anderson. Along with her immediate family, Kitty leaves behind a host of friends and relatives who will remember her with love.
Kitty will be remembered for her warm spirit and love of life. She found joy in hosting cookouts, barbecuing on the grill, and surrounding herself with family and music. She especially loved early mornings at the beach, where she would stay all day soaking in the sun and ocean. Known by many for her delicious fried dough, she had a gift for cooking that brought people together. Kitty was also an avid NFL fan and could always be found cheering on her New England Patriots.
A woman of deep Catholic faith, Kitty lived her life with love, kindness, and strength. She now reunites in heaven with her parents, Cecelia and William P. Kane.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 26th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Cross Street AME Zion Church, followed by a service from 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
