Judith Ann Martin, 76, wife of the late Peter Martin, passed away November 2, 2023, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.  She was born on July 25, 1947, in Stamford, CT, the daughter of the late Helen (Rohacik) and Russell Howe.

Judy attended the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, CT where she graduated in 1967.  She spent many years working in various roles in the insurance industry before retiring in 2005.  Judy loved her children and grandchildren, always doing her best to be present at events, both big and small, in each of their lives.  She was an avid sports fan, always rooting for her beloved New York Mets and UCONN women’s basketball teams.

Judy is survived by two sons:  Christopher (Lucy) Martin and Dean (Vanessa) Martin; grandchildren Dominic, Olivia, Natalie, and Zachary; sisters Linda (Charles) Obuchowski and Virginia Howe; brother-in-law Timothy (Dorothy) Martin, sister-in-law Ann (Daniel) Robinson, sister-in-law Patricia (Gregory) Voisine, sister-in-law Stephanie Martin and was predeceased by her father-in-law Harry Martin, mother-in-law Jacqueline Martin, brother-in-law David Martin and sister-in-law Mari-Beth Martin.  She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
