John Hartzell, Sr. Obituary

John Arlin Hartzell Sr., 75, of East Haddam, left our loving embrace on October 21, 2021. Born in Bloomsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Jack and June (Bartholomew) Hartzell.

John leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Maureen (Alderman) Hartzell and their children: John (Jeannine) Hartzell and Elizabeth (James) Edwards as well as 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a sister, Jennilou (Douglas) Davis.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, James A. Hartzell.

A memorial service will be held on November 4th at 5:00 P.M. at the Valley Bible Evangelical Church, 220 Turkey Hill Rd, Haddam. To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
