Joan Rita Dowling

Joan Rita Dowling, 81, of Middletown, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Apple Rehab in Middletown.  Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late John and Rita (Ahern) Dowling.

Joan lived most of her life in Middletown where she was employed at Longworth Carlson Ford Dealership for many years.  She enjoyed gardening and was a good person with a big heart and will be remembered as a good friend to all.

Joan is survived by her brother Philip Dowling of Apollo Beach, Florida and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
