Jean Beverly (Erickson) Watson, 84, of Washingtonville, New York, wife of the late Thomas H. Watson, passed away on February 19, 2021 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Rebecca (Aumuller) Erickson.
Jean was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Monroe, NY where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was employed at New York Telephone Company/ATT then Verizon. She started as a clerk typist moving to accounting and budgeting retiring in the late 1990’s after more than thirty years. Jean volunteered for the country store in Washingtonville and enjoyed spending hours on her flowers gardens and berries from which she made jam.
Jean is survived by her brother Thomas D. Erickson and his wife Carolyn of Brenton, FL; a brother-in-law, Fred Watson and his wife Patsy of Australia; a niece, Kim Johnston and her husband James of Connecticut; four nephews, David Erickson and his wife Mary of Ohio, George Hindle and his wife Laura of CT, Karl Erickson and his wife Jodi of Wisconsin and Andrew Hindle and his wife Betty of CT and many grand nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, Jean was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Hindle.
A virtual service will be held on Saturday, March 13th at 11:00 am.
