Jean Perkins (Farrow) Delegan, 94, of Middletown passed on November 18, 2021. Jean was a lifelong resident of Middletown. She was the daughter of the late Margaret (Uhlberg) and Edgar Perkins Farrow. She was employed at Liberty Bank, Citizen Bank and Hubbard School. In her later years, she volunteered at the Idella Howell Pre-school; where she enjoyed reading to the children. Jean graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and later took courses at Middlesex Community College.
She was a big sports fan; an avid follower of tennis, football and basketball, especially during March Madness. She loved her Big Band music; Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and others. Being around family and friends was her joy. Jean was sharp as a tack, with a beautiful smile and laugh.

Jean is survived by her daughter Alissa, her son Philip and daughter–in-law Juanita Beth Baldwin; Lynn Peters (John) and Sherrill Farrow, Louis (Eileen) Delegan and Elizabeth (William) Brown. In addition, many special nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and friends she held close to her heart.
She was predeceased by her beloved son, Michael and former husband, John and sisters, Phyllis, and Audrey and brother, Dale.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 27 at 9:30 a.m. in Indian Hill Cemetery, 383 Washington Street, Middletown followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. at First Church of Christ, 190 Court Street, Middletown.
