Irving Klein Ezell, 66, of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2024, at Saint Francis Hospital. Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late John and Katharine (Sneed) Ezell.
Irving lived in Middletown and Meriden all his life and was a member of Cross Street AME Zion Church in Middletown. He enjoyed sports, especially the Minnesota Vikings. He loved to dance and was known as “The Dancer”. Irving loved his grandchildren dearly.
Irving is survived by his daughter Yesennia Rodriguez of Meriden; a brother William Christopher Ezell of New Britain; sister Allyson Blackman; favorite aunt Edith Barnes of Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren Jailena Cividanes, Alexander Vazquez, Ayden Vazquez and Juel Cividanes; special friend Debbie “Precious” Snead of New Haven; Goddaughter Qumishia Muckle-Brown; five nieces, three nephews, three great nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Along with his parents, Irving was predeceased by his grandparents, William Sneed, Sr., Christianity Sneed, Winnie Rivers Harris and Elbert Ezell and two sisters, Mellissa J. Ezell and Tammy L. Ezell.
