Harvey Joseph Albert

Harvey Joseph Albert, 81, of Middletown, husband of Patricia (Reed) Albert for sixty years, passed away on October 3, 2025, at Water’s Edge Center for Health and Rehabilitation.  Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Dewey and Sadie (Rosenthal) Albert.

Harvey lived his entire life in Middletown where he graduated from Middletown High School.  He serviced in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He worked as a data processor manager for NAPA Auto Parts Northeast and was employed at Elmcrest Hospital for several years.  He also earned his real estate license later in life. Harvey enjoyed cooking and hosting Sunday dinners and holidays.

Along with his wife, Harvey is survived by a son Robert D. Albert and his wife Jill of Portland; two daughters Tracey L. Doulens and her husband Robert of Middletown and Kelli A. Strycharz of Bristol and four grandchildren Jeffrey Albert, Brendan Albert, Kole Strycharz and Klay Strycharz.

Besides his parents, Harvey was predeceased by his son Daniel Albert.
