Harry Rondini Obituary

Harry Rondini, aged 95, passed away on July 22, 2024, in Merritt Island, Florida. Born on July 13, 1929, in New Britain, Connecticut, he was the eldest son of Harry and Mary Rondini. Prior to moving to Florida following his retirement, he resided in Middletown, Connecticut with his wife and family.
 

Harry proudly and honorably served in the United States Marine Corp and was a veteran of World War 2 and the Korean Conflict. His commitment to duty was evident in his dedication and service to the Marine Corp which instilled in him many of the values that defined his character throughout the remainder of his life.
 

Professionally, Harry began his career with Pepperidge Farm in Connecticut, where he served as a District Sales Manager for the New England area before being promoted to Regional Sales Manager, where he managed sales activities across five states from his offices in Arlington, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. His career spanned almost 25 years, during which he earned many awards for his achievements in sales and leadership.
 

An avid golfer, Harry enjoyed the game passionately into his 90’s, embodying the spirit of the sport with enthusiasm, and a never-ending competitive nature. Golf was more than a hobby; it was a significant part of his life that brought him joy and relaxation.
 

Harry was a widower, having lost his wife Thurlene (Pope) Rondini in 2001. He leaves behind a loving family, including his brother Roger Rondini and his wife Joan; his daughter Rebecca Pope; his sons Jess Rondini and William Rondini; his daughter-in-law Patricia Rondini; five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Lenore Regina, his brother Robert Rondini, and his goddaughter Marilyn Cronin.
