Frank Thigpen, Jr. 57 of Middletown died on Friday, March 6, 2020. Born in Clewiston, FL., he was the son of Frank Thigpen, Sr. of Middletown and the late Barbara (Campbell) Thigpen.
Frank lived in Middletown most of his life, graduating from Middletown High School Class of 81. He was employed at Tuscany Grill and Wesleyan University prior to his illness. He will be missed by the many lives that he touched.
Along with his father, Frank, Jr. is survived by a son, Chaz Thigpen of Middletown; two brothers, Curtis Thigpen and Ernest Thigpen both of Middletown; three sisters, Valarie (Anthony) Brown of Odessa, FL, Michelle Thigpen of Middletown and Latoya (Jeffrey) Thomas of Largo, FL.; three grandchildren; Jayla Amin, Jordan Thigpen, and Dhafir Amin and his best friends Debbie Dickerson and Sylvia Hilton of Middletown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Besides his mother, Frank was predeceased by a daughter, Tamisha Thigpen and a brother, Julius Keith Thigpen.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14 at 11:00 am at Zion First Baptist Church, 16 James A. Moses Avenue, Middletown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
