Francis Adam Florkoski

Francis “Frank” Adam Florkoski, 90, a lifetime resident of Cromwell, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Autumn Lake of Cromwell.  He leaves behind his beloved wife of sixty-seven years, Carmen (Malena) Florkoski.

Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Anthony J. and Margaret (Comeau) Florkoski, Sr.  Frank grew up in Portland and attended local schools there.  He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955 and was awarded three medals: The German Occupation, the Air Force, and the Good Conduct Medal.  Frank was employed at Floyd Manufacturing in Berlin retiring in 1994 and was also a lifetime member of the VFW.

Frank is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Anthony J. Florkoski, Jr.

Family and friends may call on Friday, June 30th from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell.  A private graveside service will be held with full military honors in the State Veteran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association of Connecticut, 2275 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 9, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.  To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
