Emma “Pat” Patricia (Robichaud) Stielau, 88, of Middletown, beloved wife of Robert W. Stielau for fifty-nine years, passed away on January 3, 2026, at her home. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Annette (Dube) Robichaud.
Pat was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking, her bird Buddy, soap operas, and dancing. She was a very outgoing and comical person. Above all, Pat’s love for family was everything to her, especially her grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Pat was survived by her son William M. Stielau and his wife Elizabeth of Middletown and two grandchildren Breanna and Braden.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10th at 11:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church, 300 Washington Street, Middletown. Burial will be private. Family and friends may call on Saturday morning before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory may be made to Middlesex Breast Cancer Center, C/O Office of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457.
