Eleanor A. Asci, 100, of Cromwell, beloved wife of 65 years to the late William O. Asci, passed away December 31, 2020, at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Glastonbury on April 24, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Jennie (Carrier) Anderson. Eleanor graduated from Glastonbury High School with the class of 1938. She worked at J.B. Williams and Co. while her husband Bill was in the service. She later worked at Pilgrim Manor in Cromwell for 18 years. She was a resident of Cromwell for 76 years. As the wife of a past president and member of the Cromwell Lions Club, Eleanor was always volunteering in any way she could. She was a member of the Rosetown Squares for 25 years. She loved spending time with family and was an avid gardener, having a vegetable garden right up until 99 yrs old.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sons, William A. Asci and Daniel R. Asci, and 3 sisters, Frances Mount, Mabelle Geary and Helen Webber. Eleanor is survived by her grandchildren, Kristine Williams and Jason Asci; 4 great-grandchildren, Alexander & Parker Williams and Evan & William Asci; brother, Jeffrey Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.
