Dorothy Jean (Mousch) Donegan, 93, of Killingworth, passed away on October 19, 2020 surrounded by family. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Alice (Beveridge) Mousch.
Dorothy graduated Durham High School, Class of young ladies and Class of 1946. She volunteered during World War II in the observation tower which was used for spotting planes. Dorothy was a member of The Church Of the Epiphany in Durham and a fifty year member of the Killingworth Volunteer Fire Department.
Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Charlene Langston and her husband Robert of Clinton and Sherri Lynn Bishop and her husband Brian of Madison; two grandchildren, Darda Langston and Abigail Bishop; one great grandchild, Ashley Langston and two adopted grandchildren, Justin Stehr and Beth-Anne Stehr.
Along with her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by two husbands, Donald J. Donegan and Charles D. Robins; a son, Jerald G. Clark; a grandson, Ezra Langston and five sisters, Margaret Hubbard, Marion Theyer, Bertha Robbins, Mildred Marshall and Alice Dorothea Saltus.
Services will be held outdoors on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Killingworth Cemetery off Emmanuel Church Road in Killingworth. The cemetery is known as Emmanuel Cemetery, aka Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to join this outdoor service where masks will be required.
