Doris Williabell (Dos Santos) Warmsley, 100, of Bellflower, California and formerly of Middletown, passed away on October 29, 2023, at her home. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Sabino and Williabell (Brookes) Dos Santos and the wife of the late Frank Warren Warmsley, Sr.
Doris lived most of her life in Middletown and was employed by Middlesex Hospital for over twenty-five years. She loved doing puzzles, playing scrabble, dancing, and listening to music. Doris’s family was everything to her.
She is survived by two sons, Donald E. Warmsley (Lori) of Middletown and David P. Warmsley (Charlotte) of Rocky Hill; four daughters, Doris Arguelles (Mateo) of Bellflower, CA, Nancy Warmsley of Bellflower, CA, Rhonda Warmsley of Hampton, VA and Halimah Shakir (Abdul Malik) of La Verne, CA and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, Doris was predeceased by two sons, Frank W. Warmsley, Jr. and Gerald Warmsley; three brothers, Ralph, Phillip, and Earl Dos Santos and two sisters, Pauline Warmsley and Viola Dos Santos.
Family and friends may call on Monday, November 13th from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am at the funeral home followed by a burial in the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
