Donald Alan Loree, Sr.

Donald Alan Loree, Sr., 70, of Cromwell, passed away on September 8, 2022 at his home.  Born in Willimantic, he was the son of the late Roland Wood and the late Evelyn (Brown) Loree. 

Donald attended services at Bethany Lutheran Church. He was very active in the Theresa Rook Community, was always donating to various charities and volunteered at Sheikh’s Dairy Plus.  Most important to Donald was his son whom he loved dearly.

Donald is survived by his son, Donald “Donnie” A. Loree, Jr. of Cromwell; a brother Daniel Loree of Rhode Island; a sister Carolyn Meister of Willimantic and two nieces, Julie and Karen.

Along with his parents, Donald was predeceased by his stepson, Rick Marston and a brother David Loree.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 22 at 11:00 am at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 am before the service.  To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
