Dominick P. Ciotto Jr., 45, of Cromwell, CT, passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on January 24, 1980, Dominick grew up in Cromwell, where he spent his childhood playing baseball and building friendships that lasted a lifetime. He graduated from Cromwell High School and later attended Middlesex Community College.
Dominick was an avid fan of the Yankees, Giants, and UConn, never missing a chance to talk sports or cheer on his teams. He will be remembered most for his unforgettable smile, quick humor, and deep love for his family and friends. His presence lit up every room, and his loyalty to the people he loved was unwavering.
Dominick is survived by his mother, Frances Ciotto of Cromwell and his father, Dominick Ciotto Sr. of Rocky Hill. He leaves behind his beloved sisters, Michelle Ciotto and her partner Scott O’Brien and Jennifer Pappariella and her husband Lewis Pappariella. He was a proud and adored Uncle D to his nieces and nephews Kaylee, Drew, Noelle and Lucas. Dominick was loved by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his dog Holly, who was his faithful companion.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday December 17th from 5:00–7:00 PM at Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day on Thursday December 18th at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Church, 5 Saint John Court in Cromwell.
