Diane Gail (Beausoleil) Wiegert

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Diane (Beausoliel) Wiegert.  She passed peacefully in her sleep on October 8, 2025, at home, shortly after her diagnosis. Born in May 13, 1954, in Bethesda, Maryland, she was the oldest of three children. Diane grew up in Wolcott, Connecticut, before settling in Cromwell, where she lived for 41 years.

Diane will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, aunt, and friend. She will be celebrated for her kindness and compassion, her quick wit and creativity, her gift for bringing people together, and her unwavering commitment to her community and the town of Cromwell.

Diane is survived by her loving husband, Glen Wiegert, and her cherished daughter, Emily Wiegert, and Emily’s partner, Tony Bellantoni. She is also survived by her siblings-in-law Sue Beausoleil, Brian Wiegert, Marybeth DeFriesse, and Kathy Krampitz (Mike), as well as many beloved nieces and nephews: Kimberly Wiegert (AJ), Chris Wiegert (Casey, Zabby, and Max), Jonathan DeFriesse, Michelle Krampitz (Phoenix and Ozmyth), Eric Krampitz, Chris Beausoleil (Angela, Olivia, Jackson, and Emma), Matthew Wiegert (Angela, Ethan, and Evelyn), Kimry Aleksiewicz (Joe), and Faye Beausoleil.

Diane was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Patricia (Sova) Beausoleil; her brothers, Albert and Michael Beausoleil; her sister-in-law, Linda Wiegert; and her firstborn son, Ryan Wiegert, who was born premature.
