Delbert Amos Little, 88, of Meriden, husband of the late Deborah (D’Addio) Little, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Midstate Medical Center. Born in Woodland, Maine, he was the son of the late Amos and Ella (Drost) Little.
Delbert lived in Meriden and Wallingford for most of his life. He was employed in the trucking industry for 62 years, retiring at the age of 82. He was a member of Hallmere Social Club in Meriden for 40 years and of Center Lodge AF AM #97 in Meriden for 45 years where he served as a past Master. Delbert was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and of UConn Womens Basketball.
Delbert is survived by his son, Andrew Little and his wife Sherri of Yalesville; three daughters, Sherri Ferraiolo of Meriden, Jo-Ann Little of Wallingford and Kathy Manchester and her husband Steven of Youngsville, NC; four sisters, Shirley Cote of Woodstock, Phyllis Jones and her husband Charlie of Boody, Il, Merleen Cote and her husband Lue of Waterbury and Grace Cocchiola and her husband Michael of Waterbury; his beloved and faithful four legged companion Pug; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden at the convenience of the family.
