Dean Heinrick “Deano” Bishop, 57, of Middletown, beloved husband of June (Brauer) Bishop for 34 years, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 after a long illness at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Donald D. Bishop of East Hartford and the late Katherina M. (Breiter) Bishop.
Dean had lived in Middletown for thirty-five years. He graduated from Windham Tech in 1979. He was the owner of Better Office Installations in Middletown for over thirty years. Dean was a member of the Moose Lodge #1547 for over twenty years and a Moose Rider.
Dean is survived by his son, Thomas Adam Bishop and his wife, Amy Enderle Bishop of Meriden; two daughters, Angel Ann Carlone and her partner, Justin Cabrera of East Hampton and Sarah Marie Bishop of Middletown; four sisters, Maggie Thomas of MA, Donna and David Steben of Enfield, Rowena and Chris Hornish of East Hartford, and Althea Burns of East Hartford; five grandchildren, Cody Rhoades, Bethany Carlone, Dylan Carlone, Hailee Carlone and Quinn Bishop, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 18th at 7:00 pm at Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
