David Michael Rowe

David Michael Rowe, of Middlefield, passed away at home, February 3, 2025.  Born August 29, 1958, David was a graduate of Coginchaug High School and went on to study at the University of Connecticut and later at Elim Bible Institute.  An avid gardener, David was talented at growing items that did not always wish to grow.  He lived and worked in Hartford, CT, in insurance, and then worked with unhoused individuals in New York City.  He enjoyed cooking and, in later years, was a diligent caretaker while living with his mother.  David was a lifelong follower of the Grateful Dead and had friends from many walks of life. Predeceased by his parents David M. Rowe and Barbara S. Rowe, David Michael is survived by his brother Jeffrey C. Rowe of Bowdoinham, ME, and sister Kimberly B.
