David Kenneth Lynch

David Kenneth Lynch, 44, of Colchester, passed away on August 21, 2023, at his home. Born in Middletown, he was the son of Nadine (Otte) Rousseau of Colchester and the late
Kenneth Lynch.
David grew up in Durham and graduated from Coginchaug High School, Class of 1997 and
served in the United States Army. He graduated from Middlesex Community College with Associates in criminal justice and earned Phi Theta Kappa high honors.  He loved cooking, BBQ/smoking, riding his Harley and going on trips, especially to Vermont. Most of all David loved spending time with Grace, taking her to parks, the aquarium, and watching her milestones as she grows. David will be remembered as someone who loved to make people laugh and known for asking everyone what they had for dinner. Most everyone he came in contact with he had a nickname for or had "uncle" at the beginning of their name.
Along with his mother, David is survived by his miracle and the light of his life his daughter, Grace E. Lynch (3 years old) of Middletown; stepfather Paul Rousseau of Colchester; his former spouse of 16 years Jamie (Blair) Lynch "Boochie" as David called her of Middletown and his girlfriend Liz Lawrence of Ashford.
Besides his father, David was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Joan
Otte. He was also predeceased by his fur babies and best companions Indio & Lexi.
A private graveside service will be held in Mica Hill Cemetery in Durham. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to GRACE ELLEN LYNCH EDUCATION FUND at Liberty Bank, 460 South Main St, Middletown CT 06457.
