David Joseph Kiley

David Joseph Kiley, 83, of Cromwell, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025. Born on April 28, 1942, in Middletown, Connecticut, he was the youngest of four boys to the late John and Nora Kiley (Burke).

He was married to Ruthann Kiley (Budzinack) for 58 years. They started their married lives in Middletown and later moved to Higganum to raise their family. David worked hard pursuing a Bachelor’s degree later in life while taking care of a growing family.

David worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer for Colt’s Manufacturing, GE and Space-Craft Manufacturing. He served his country with the Army National Guard for six years. He enjoyed telling stories about his youth on Grand Street and his big wins at the Casinos. Many family vacations were spent in Southern Maine, and he will be remembered for his love of his family.

David is survived by his wife, Ruthann, by his son, David John Kiley, and his daughters, Dawn Kovacs, Lisa Brauer and her husband, Mark, along with six grandchildren Shawn, Michael, Maggie, Emily, Kylee and Lilla.
