David Andrew Evensen

     David A. Evensen, 83, formerly of Middletown, CT, died on August 5, 2023, at Marina Bay in Quincy, MA. David was born on January 15,1940 to Margaret (Pedersen) and Christian Evensen of Cromwell, CT, and was raised in Cromwell and South Glastonbury, along with his siblings Nedda (Evensen) Webber and Martin Evensen. David and his former wife raised two daughters in Haddam, CT.

     David was proud to have held varied jobs throughout his life, and particularly enjoyed reminiscing about his time with the Town of Durham, the Red Cross, and Rushford in Middletown. He loved reading, radios, and ironic humor.  David was proud of his daughters and was loved by his family.

     He is survived by his daughters Ruth Evensen (Arnauld) and Susan Evensen Tena (Abraham), and by his former wife, Virginia L. Evensen.
